  • Day 1 - Hanoi Arrival

    Our Minmax guide and driver will greet you at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and transfer by private car downtown to check in the hotel in Hanoi. Depending on your arrival time, you may have time to explore a little of downtown and take a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake. Then you will attempt to the traditional show at Water Puppet Theatre before you get our welcome dinner in the restaurant.
    At night: Stay overnight in hotel in Hanoi.

    Day 2 - Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise - Overnight junk boat

    At around 8 am after breakfast, let’s start your journey to Halong Bay and arrive at Halong around midday to board a traditional junk for an overnight cruise. Halong Bay is widely recognized to be one of the natural wonders of the world. Thousands of towering pillars of sea and wind-carved limestone karsts formations make the bay become an unforgettable sight in almost travelers.

    After lunch, you will have a chance to explore some of the huge limestone caves dotted around the bay and visit a floating fishing village.

    Then the captain will find a secluded spot where you can swim, soak up the sun on the top deck, or try your hand at kayaking. In the evening, enjoy a seafood feast for dinner right on the boat and stay overnight in cruise.

    Day 3 - Halong Bay - Hanoi (night train)

    Enjoy an early morning swim (during the summer), then followed by breakfast as you cruise through more spectacular scenery. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Hanoi.

    At 8:00pm, depart you by private car to Hanoi Rail way station to catch the night train to Sapa - Lao Cai (9:20pm-5:30am next of day) and stay overnight on train (Basing in First Class – Soft Sleeper 4 Beds Wooden Cabin with A/C - Sharing for 02 Person)

    Day 4 - Sapa

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
    Arrive at Lao Cai station early in the morning and we transfer to Sapa. Depending on your fitness level, you can choose gentle walks to challenging hikes to explore the lush valleys and mountains surrounded the town. With an expert local guide from Minmax Travel, you can go along small paths through verdant, terraced fields of rice and corn, passing farmers and their water sloughing the land which they already had for centuries.

    The ethnic-minority groups still retain their traditional habits and customs, including their own language and colorful clothes. You can easily realize those thing through the trip.
     In the evening, you can stay overnight with a local family in Ta Van village or return to the comfort of your hotel in Sapa.

    Day 5 - Sapa – Hanoi

    After breakfast, let’s start your morning with a hike to a beautiful waterfall before continuing on contemplating picturesque Red Dao village. Red Dao’s women wear giant red scarves around their heads whose clothes is embellished with colorful red embroidery and coins.

    Then, you are free to experience Sapa before returning to Lao Cai for overnight train back to Hanoi. Stay overnight on train (Basing in First Class – Soft Sleeper 4 Beds Wooden Cabin with A/C - Sharing for 02 Person)

    Day 6 - Hanoi city tour

    Meals: Breakfast
    Arrive at Hanoi train station at around 4.30 am, then you will be escorted by our guide with private car to a hotel in Ha Noi for checking-in. In the morning, it’s free time for you to relax and recover from your journey in the north of Vietnam. In the afternoon, we will take a city tour around Hanoi. We will go to the Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam and take a walk through the bustling Old Quarter. Finally, stay overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 7 - Shopping in Hanoi handicraft village

    After breakfast, we will start our day to visit the Bat Trang Ceramic Village and Wood-carving Village (Dong Ky). After lunch, visit the Traditional Silk village (Van Phuc).
    At Night: Stay overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 8 - Hanoi - Hue

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch
    After breakfast, we will give you a drive to Noi Bai International Airport to take a flight to Hue. Arrive in Hue, we will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and having lunch with Hue traditional dishes.
    In the afternoon, start to discover Hue City. Hue is the last imperial capital of Vietnam which is well-known for magnificent unique architecture, pagodas and royal tombs located in small villages and surrounding hills. It’s a quaint city with great historical significance. You’ll visit the Citadel and tour the Forbidden Purple City. Then stay overnight in Hue.

    Day 9 - Hue - Hoi An

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
    After breakfast, we will take a beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue's well-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes, then take a car or a van to Hoi An.
    After lunch, we will take a road trip about 5hrs via Lang Co beach to visit The Marble mountains made up of five limestone outcrops isolated in the surrounded plains, next we will visit the Cham museum. At Night: stay overnight in a hotel in Hoi An.

    Day 10 - Hoi An Walking tour

    After breakfast, we will hold a walking tour through ancient Hoi An. We will visit beautiful Hoi An, the former merchants' houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi Quan Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colorful riverside market nearby Thu Bon river and enjoy overnight in Hoi An.

    Day 11 - Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang

    Meals: Breakfast
    Having breakfast and then we will transfer you to Da Nang Airport to take a flight to Nha Trang. Our Minmax guide will pick you up and transfer you to hotel for check in. The rest of the day is at leisure and time for you to recover. At Night: Stay overnight in Hotel in Nha Trang.

    Day 12 - Nha Trang

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch
    In the early morning, we'll take a small boat to a tropical island in Nha Trang Bay and have breakfast on the way. Possibility for swimming, snorkeling from the boat. The rest of day is free to relax. Stay overnight in Nha Trang.

    Day 13 - Nha Trang - Dalat

    In the morning, after breakfast, we leave the coastal area and join the Central Highlands. Dalat was founded as a hill station to enable the colonials to escape the heat of Sai Gon. The city is located around a lake and surrounded by forests, waterfalls and rolling countryside. It’s considered as a heaven for lovers with such a romantic scene. In this afternoon, you are free at leisure to explore the peaceful town of Dalat. Then stay overnight in Dalat.

    Day 14 - Dalat

    Have breakfast soon and then we will visit the city with flower's market, station and villas of Emperor Bao Dai.
    Then, head to the base of Lang Bian Mountain to visit Dalat Village and continue to the Lake of Sighs followed by Truc Lam Pagoda. Stay overnight in Dalat.

    Day 15 - Dalat - Ho Chi Minh

    Meals: Breakfast
    Have breakfast and then we will transfer you to the airport to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is at leisure. At Night: Stay overnight in hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

    Day 16 - Ho Chi Minh City Tour

    After breakfast, we will start our visiting in Ho Chi Minh city -  the most exciting city in Vietnam, a commercial area with a chequered history and a rich traditional cultures. Its pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks and boulevards make it one of the most delightful Trans-Vietnam tour: Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, former US Embassy, City Hall, War Crime Museum Giac Lam pagoda, China town, Thien Hau temple, Ben Thanh Market. End of day, we spend our night at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

    Day 17 - Cu Chi Tunnel - Cao Dai Temple

    Having breakfast and we will depart at 8.00 from the hotel. The morning excursion to Tay Ninh will take you to the Great Cao Dai temple (a mixture of Buddhism, Confucius, Taoism, Hinduism and Christian). You will have a chance to see the noon mass at the temple (01hr). Then, have lunch in Tay Ninh province.
    In the afternoon, we will visit the fabulous Cu Chi tunnel - an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence where you can understand more about the Vietnam War, a must-see Vietnam Tour for any tourists who want to learn about Vietnam in the past and in the present (a crawls through 50-100m out 200km of the tunnel system is unforgettable ). Next, enjoy local rice paper workshops. Nice paddy field are pleasant sights on the way. At Night: stay overnight in a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

    Day 18 - Ho Chi Minh City- Chau Doc (Mekong Delta)

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch
    Breakfast and then we will drive to Cai Be - deep in the Mekong Delta, and embark on a cruise on the Cai Be Princess junk boat. The tour begins with a visit of the colorful Cai Be floating market, followed by some local home factories that produce rice paste, rice popcorn and coconut candy. Proceed to evergreen islands among the Mekong River through a large network of meandering tributaries, crisscrossed with countless arroyos.
    Lunch will be served right away at a fruit orchard before we cruise to Vinh Long to discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong Delta rural life.
    Next, we will take a coach trip to Sa Dec where it is made famous by the film Lamant, the Marguerite Dura’s story and explore the village before heading onto Chau Doc via Long Xuyen for the first night here. 

    Day 19 - Chau Doc - Can Tho (Mekong Delta)

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch
    Please get up early and have a breakfast, then we will take a cruise through the amazing riverside market with all its bustling activity and smorgasbord of sounds, colors and smells and through the floating village with tons of fish farmed underneath hundreds of shelters.
    Then we will discover the ethnic Cham village with its famous Mubarak Mosque and watch the locals go about their traditional weaving. After visiting the famous Lady Chua Xu Temple (1820), we will walk to the sacred Sam Mountain with its panoramic and view over the vast plains into Cambodia.
    After lunch, we continue our journey to CanTho, with a stop at a bird sanctuary, for our second night in hotel in Can Tho.

    Day 20 - Can Tho (Mekong Delta) – Ho Chi Minh City

    We will take a ride on a Xe Loi along the country roads after having breakfast. In the afternoon, we will head back to Saigon with a stop at a My Tho bonsai garden, and then arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. At Night: Stay overnight in a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

    Day 21 - Departure

    After breakfast, depending on your flight time departure, you may have time to go shopping and relax for a while then our guide will take you to the airport to see you off on your journey home, our special thanks to you for travelling with Minmax in the long journey and hope that you will travel with us more to other countries.
