Following lunch at a local restaurant, you'll visit the Doi Tung region (situated 2000 meters/6500 feet above sea-level) home to the Doi Tung Development Project and Mae Fah Luang Gardens (established by the King's mother in 1987 to protect the region, eradicate the cultivation of opium, and encourage farmers to use sustainable agricultural practices). From there, Minmax Travel’s car will drive on to the sacred hilltop shrine Wat Phrathad Doi Tung (where it is believed that the left collarbone of Lord Buddha is enshrined in its twin pagodas) and continue to Mae Sai, the bustling trading town at the farther-most northern border between Thailand and Myanmar.     Depart from Phnom Penh to Sen Monorom (the provincial capital of Mondulkiri). We stop for lunch in the district town of Snual located in Kratie province. Along the road, we can see some of the rubber plantation initiated by the French. Today, we travel 375m by van on the road which is much better and shorter than the road from Phnom Penh to Rattanakiri. Upon arrival, we visit the village and its surrounding if possible. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Sen Monorom- the provincial capital.

    Day 2 - Phnong Village and Elephant Ride (7km)

    After breakfast, we start the journey of trekking and rideon the back of the elephant in this wild region to admire its many waterfalls. We cross the jungle covered hills to meet the Phnong, a minorityethnic population. The walking is about 1 hour to see the Phnong village deeper so that we can appreciate their traditions. We try to have supported vehicle to follow us, but in case, the van might meet us in the next accessible village. Lunch is taken near the waterfall lost in the jungle. Return to Sen Monorom for dinner and overnight.

    Day 3 - Sen Monorom – Bou Sra (walking 6km)

    After breakfast, we start the journey early in the morning in this wild animal region. We cross forests and hills. Stop and relax to enjoy the truly nature.Then go to Bou Sra waterfall with some stop in the Phnong minority villages to take some of the photos with them. Enjoy the lunch nearby the water fall. In the afternoon, we climb up the hill of Sen Monorom to visit the pagoda and enjoy the panoramic view. Return to Sen Monorom for dinner and overnight.

    Day 4 - Sen Monorom – Phnom Penh (375km)

    Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City

    Take a day trip to Mekong region for boat cruise on Mekong river (4200km long) to the Thoi Son island to enjoy all kinds of tropical fruits in this area.  Then walk through the handicraft village and also visit some of the local farm houses. Take the sampan boat (rowing boat) on small canal to the big one and ready for lunch at Trung Luong restaurant (local specialty-deep fried elephant-ear fish and sticky rice ball).  After that, go back and stay overnight in HCMC.
