• Day 1 - Bangkok Arrival

  Day 2 - Bangkok City Tour

  This morning learn more about the rich cultural and religious heritage of Thailand. Tour the Grand Palace, filled with magnificent throne halls and the famous emerald Buddha, and the city's oldest temple, Wat Po. After this enriching visit, the remainder of this afternoon is free to explore Bangkok's markets, waterways and museums.Overnight in Bangkok.

  Day 3 - Bangkok - Chiang Mai by train

  Continue exploring Bangkok at your own pace before transferring this afternoon to the Bangkok Railway station. The comfortable air-conditioned sleeper train is a fun way to travel to the northern city of Chiang Mai. Overnight onboard the train.

  Day 4 - Chiang Mai: visit ancient temples - Doi Suthep mountain

  The train arrives in Chiang Mai this morning and after checking in to your hotel, set off on an afternoon of sightseeing. Chiang Mai is a contrast of old-world charm and modern society, but the history and rich Lanna culture pervade. Tour the city walls and moats, visit ancient temples and drive to the top of Doi Suthep mountain to the most sacred temple in the region. After enjoying the panoramic views, return to the city center. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

  Day 5 - Chiang Mai Depature

  Breakfast at your hotel, then free time until transfer to airport for your departure flight.
