    We head to the base of Lang Bian Mountain this morning to visit Da Lat Village and the local market. We continue to the Lake of Sighs followed by Truc Lam Pagoda. This afternoon, you are at leisure to explore the peaceful town of Dalat.

    Day 9 - Hoi An City

    After visiting a market to purchase ingredients, we travel along Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Restaurant where we can join in a cooking class; we learn some traditional recipes and indulge in our dishes for lunch.

    Head to the north this morning over the scenic Hai Van Pass to Hue. In Hue, we enjoy a cyclo ride to the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and take a cruise along the Perfume River.

    Day 11 - Hue to Hanoi

    This morning, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage listed Royal Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh before we transfer to the airport for our flight to Hanoi. This evening, we enjoy a performance of the famous Water Puppets.

    Day 12 - Hanoi City Tour

    Today, we visit Ho Chi Minh Quarter to see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec), Humble House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue on to the Temple of Literature and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. In this afternoon, we enjoy a walk through Hanoi’s charming Old Quarter.

    Day 13 - Hanoi - Ha Long Bay.

    At around 8 am, start your journey to Ha Long Bay and arrive at around midday to board a traditional junk for an overnight cruise. Ha Long Bay is widely considered to be one of the natural wonders of the world. Thousands of towering pillars of sea and wind-carved limestone karst make the bay an unforgettable sight. After lunch, explore some of the huge limestone caves dotted around the bay and visit a floating fishing village. Then, the captain will find a secluded spot where you can swim, soak up the sun on the top deck, or try your hand at kayaking. In the evening, enjoy a seafood feast for dinner. Stay overnight in the Cruise.

    Day 14 - Ha Long - Ha Noi

    Day 2 - Banlung- Kroeung Territory – Banlung(12km)

    Drive north towards Laos and the village of Taveng. Cross the volcanic lava field of Veyrum Plang. Travelling north the landscape changes from primary forest to cleared forest, bamboo and bush. Walk to visit some Kroeung villages en route. The Kroeung people have the curious custom of erecting bachelor houses standing on long bamboo poles. These houses will remain until the young man finds a wife. Only then will the unusual bachelor pad be destroyed. The time of year to see them is usually from February to August. Stay overnight in home-stay.

    Day 3 - Banlung- Tapoun Totems - Banlung (10km)

    Leave Banlung heading northwest through bamboo forests to reach the village of Voeune Sai. This village is a Chinese enclave in Cambodian territory with most villagers not speaking Khmer. Upstream are the Tampoun villages which is known for their funeral statuary or totems. Some of the best of totems are in the village of Ka Choan, reached by boat and walking. Return to Banlung for dinner and overnight.

    Day 4 - Banlung-Yak Lom (5km)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Drive by on rough roads to explore the surrounding waterfalls at Teuk Cha Ong and Okachang and Ka Tieng. Take an elephant ride to enjoy the view of the hill. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. During a leisurely discovery tour on foot, you will visit some of the historic merchants and community houses, places of worship and famous bridges.

    Day 2 - Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

    Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Phnom Penh airport for departure to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, welcome and transfer to hotel.
    Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
    In the afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing . Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five tower symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond.
    Enjoy sunset from Phnom Bakheng which is one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor. From here, you will have a spectacular view of West Baray and Angkor Wat. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

    Day 3 - Siem Reap Departure

    Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, you will continue your temple visits. Included are Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Sra Srang ("The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation) and the "Mountain Temple " of Pre Rup.
    In the afternoon, transfer to the archaeological site and continue the temple tour. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Then visit Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples. Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to next destination.
