  • Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur Arrival

    Upon arrival Kuala Lumpur, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. This vibrant capital city forms a modern backdrop of lustrous skyscrapers. In the afternoon, you will be fascinated by the garden city image of Kuala Lumpur during the city tour. We will spend the afternoon driving pass Chinatown and House of Parliament with stops at National Monument, King's Palace, National Mosque, Independent Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Building. After dinner at restaurant, the evening is left free for relaxation after the long international flight.

    Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur - Malacca

    After breakfats, we will spend the day exploring the neighboring historical city of Malacca. We will visit St Peter's Church (1710) - the oldest Christian Church which has still been used in Malaysia, "Red Square" - the salmon pink Dutch administration buildings and Portugese settlement. We will enjoy a sumptuous "Nyonya & Baba" food for lunch (on own account). After lunch, we will visit the harmony street where the oldest Chinese temple, Cheng Hon Teng Temple is located. A Muslim mosque and Indian temple can also be found on the same street. Take a stroll along Malacca's antique street which ends by the banks of the Malacca River before going back to Kuala Lumpur for overnight.

    Day 3 - Kuala Lumpur - Cherating

    Breakfast at hotel. This morning, you will depart early to travel 270km east of Kuala Lumpur (approx. 5 hours) to Kuantan - the capital of the largest state of Peninsular Malaysia. It is rapidly becoming a seaside resort of international repute. Kuantan offers clean, beautiful and sandy beaches. In Cherating, you will see pandan leaves being weaved into bags and mats. You can also watch monkeys plucking coconuts. Stay overnight in Cherating.

    Day 4 - Cherating - Kuala Terengganu

    Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, we will depart Cherating and head to the north. Along the way, you will see Malay villages which were built in kampong style. A scenic drive along the coastal road will bring you to the state of Terengganu. Then go for a short to visit the fishing villages at Marang. Marang welcomes her visitors with tall swaying coconut trees, cool fresh air, an incredibly beautiful lagoon and a fleet of fishing trawlers. Visit Tengku Tengah Zaharad Mosque (Floating Mosque) and the Terengganu State Museum before checking into your hotel along the brilliant South China Sea in Kuala Terengganu.

    Day 5 - Kuala Terengganu - Kota Bahru

    After breakfast, depart northwards to the state of Kelantan. Kelantan has had many influences during the 16th and 18th century but it has been still managed to preserve its original traditions and culture which earned them the title "Cradle of Malay Civilisation". Kota Bahru is the capital of the state of Kelantan. It is also the place to see kite-flying contest, admire traditional wood carvings, photograph the colorful market place and marvel at the skills of songket weavers. Stay overnight in Kota Bharu.

    Day 6 - Kota Bharu - Penang Island

    Breakfast at hotel. After the marvelous stay at Kota Bahru, we will continue our journey to the north-western coast on to 'The Pearl of the Orient' - Penang island. Starting off early today, you cross the Malay Peninsula from the east coast to the west coast, pass through three states to a contrasting lifestyle. En route, you will enjoy a picturesque scenery of Malaysia's tropical jungles. Upon arriving at Butterworth, you will cross the Penang Bridge (spanning 13.5km - the longest bridge in Asia and the third in the World) onto the island of Penang.

    Day 7 - Penang Departure

    Breakfast at hotel. Today, you explore Penang - the Pearl of the Orient. The tour begins with a half day visit to the Thai temple of Wat Chayamangkalaram which houses a 32 metres reclining Buddha, and the Burmese temple Dharmmikarama. Then, go to Fort Cornwallis where the founder of Penang first landed. Next, visit the early Chinese settlement where houses are built on stilts along the busy harbor front. Take a short drive through historical Georgetown to the Majestic Cheah Kongsi, a clan house with its ancient design constructed to capture the splendor of an Imperial Palace. The rest of the afternoon is left for you to enjoy the beach and sun until you are transferred to the airport for departure flight.

In the afternoon, you will arrive in Tan Chau- a remote small town on the main branch of the Mekong River.

    Day 4 - Tan Chau – Border – Cambodia

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Hanoi

    Upon arrival in Hanoi, you meet our guide at the airport and they will take you to your hotel for check-in in Hanoi. If time permits, we can have riding test in the afternoon. Welcome dinner with local delicacies. Tour briefing at the dinner time. Overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 2 - Ride to Mai Chau

    In the morning, we take a short bus drive to the starting point on the outskirt of Hanoi where we beginning our adventure journey. We will ride on Highway 6 passing extensive farming lands comprising a sea of paddy fields split by tree-lined and the roads punctuated by limestone karst scenery.
    After a light lunch in Hoa Binh Town, the capital of Hoa Binh Province, we cross two short mountain passes then descent to the mountain valley settlement of Mai Chau. We ride straight to Pom Coong- a peaceful village of White Thai ethnic minority where we have lunch, dinner and spend our night in a traditional stilt-house of a Thai family. If time and weather permit, we will ride toward Ma River to enjoy a short boat ride upstream Ma Rive to a remote Thai Village. Relax and have interesting conversations with the villagers before we walk back to the dock. Return to Pom Coong Village to have dinner and stay overnight.

    Day 3 - Ride up to Son La

    Breakfast at the home-stay before we embark on a beautiful ride up north to Son La. The road is in good conditions and the scenery is stunning. We may take frequent stops to visit minority villages of H’mong, Black Thai,… or to take photos. Lunch will be served in local restaurant en route. The highlight of our ride today could be the tea plantations in Moc Chau Plateau where you find the best green tea in Vietnam grown along the roads on hillsides. We go to Son La in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Son La.

    Day 4 - Descend valley of Dien Bien Phu

    It is true to say “the further you go up north the faster you heart rate”. Today, the ride is greater with more winding road, longer passes, more colorful minority groups and more stunning scenery. Like yesterday, we may have interesting stops to visit villages and take photos. Lunch en route in local restaurant. The highlight of today ride could be the impressive pass of Pha Din.
    Pha Pin means Heaven-Earth, and according to local legend, it was the frontier between Heaven and Earth. Pha Din is some 1,000m above sea-level. Climbing and descending the slopes with their many bends and deep gorges is a really an unforgettable experience. We reach to Dien Bien Phu in the afternoon around 4pm. Upon arrival, we could ride around to explore the town. Dinner and overnight in Dien Bien Phu.

    Day 5 - Riding along Nam Na River to Tam Duong

    After breakfast, we will start our 225 km ride along stunning gorges and Nam Na River. On the way, we will have interesting stops to visit H’mong and Dzao villages. Lunch in Lai Chau. We would reach to Tam Duong around 4.30 pm. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Tam Duong Town.

    Day 6 - Ascending Sapa

    The ride today is the highlight of the whole trip. Climbing the highest pass in Vietnam, the Tram Ton Pass. Lunch in local restaurant en route. We will visit Sapa in the noon time. Sapa is the former hill station for the French colonists hundred years ago. Today, Sapa is the paradise for trekking lovers thank to its beautiful trekking routes, stunning terraces, colorful minority groups and the highest mountain in Indochina- the Mt. Fansipang. Free at leisure in the afternoon. Have dinner and stay overnight in Sapa.

    Note: The weekend market (Sunday market) in Tam Duong is very interesting with lots of colorful ethnic minorities. If this day is Sunday , the market will be included in the program and we will go to Sapa around 3pm.

    Day 7 - Ride northeastward to Ha Giang

    After breakfast in the hotel, we will head to Ha Giang 200km northeast of Sapa. First, we descend Lao Cai through a beautiful area of rice terraces on hill slopes. In Lao Cai, we will have a short ride along the border with China. The road is quite smooth and the traffic is not very busy. Lunch stop in small town of Yen Binh. We go to Ha Giang around 5.30pm. Tonight, we will stay overnight in a house of a Tay family. Dinner and overnight in the house.

    Day 8 - Riding to Bao Lac

    Breakfast at the homestay. Riding east to Bao Lac Town. Today, the ride is shorter and easier; thus, we may have sometime to wander around the village before leaving for Bao Lac. The lunch stop is in Bac Me- a quiet town on the bank of Gam River. After lunch, we continue to Bao Lac. The ride in the afternoon is very nice since we ride along the Gam River. Arrive in Bao Lac around 5pm. Stay overnight in a mini hotel.

    Day 9 - Riding to Bao Bang

    In the morning, we head to Nguyen Binh through mining town of Tinh Tuc. The ride is quite peaceful with easy traffic and good road. Lunch stop in Nguyen Binh. In the afternoon, we ride to Cao Bang with a stop to visit Pac Po cave- the hideout used by Ho Chi Minh when he came back to Vietnam after 30 years of self imposed exile. It was here that he organized his resistance army against the French. After that, we continue to Cao Bang. Dinner and overnight in Cao Bang.

    Day 10 - Riding to Ban Gioc

    Breakfast in Cao Bang. Ride to the beautiful waterfall of Ban Gioc. We will have an exploration of Nguom Ngao Cave before reaching to Ban Gioc. Have lunch in Ban Gioc and spend the afternoon to take photo and relax in the scenic nature setting of Ban Gioc Waterfall. We will ride back to Cao Bang on another road until we reach to Quang Yen. Return to Cao Bang around 5pm. Dinner and overnight in Cao Bang.

    Day 11 - Riding to Ba Be Lake

    Today, we ride to the most beautiful lake in northern Vietnam, which is named “another Halong Bay”. The lunch stop is in Cho Ra. After lunch, we have a short ride to Pac Ngoi- a village of Tay ethnic minority on the bank of Ba Be Lake. Upon arrival in Pac Ngoi, we have a cruise on the lake. You can relax in the clean water of the lake if weather permits. Tonight, we will have dinner and stay overnight with a Tay family.

    Day 12 - Riding to Lang Son

    Have breakfast at the home stay before heading to Lang Son. Today, we ride on quiet roads through an unpopulated area. The roads were built and used mainly during the border dispute with China in 1979. We will have lunch in Nari, a small town on the bank of Bac Giang River. We continue riding toward the border gate of Friendship Pass in Dong Dang and go to Lang Son where we stop for overnight.

    Day 13 - Riding back to Hanoi

    Today, we head back to Hanoi. Before leaving for Hanoi, we visit Tam Thanh Cave. We ride on A1 National road. Have a stop for lunch in Kep. We will reach to Hanoi at 4.30pm. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 14 - Departure

  • Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur Arrival

    Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur City Tour

    After breakfast at hotel, you will be fascinated by the garden city image of Kuala Lumpur during the city tour. We will spend the morning driving pass House of Parliament with stops at Bird’s Park, National Monument, King's Palace, National Mosque, Independent Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Building, between that, lunch will be at local restaurant. After that, visit the fourth tallest tower in the world which is located on top of the hill situated right in the Kuala Lumpur city centre. Catch your breath as the lift takes you to the observation deck for a spectacular view of the Kuala Lumpur city. The evening is free for relaxing.

    Day 3 - Kuala Lumpur - Putrajaya - Kuala Lumpur

    After breakfast at hotel, spend the morning to visit the tallest building in the world, the Twin Tower and get the experience of shopping at one of the best shopping center in Kuala Lumpur. After that, just take a few minutes, you will be transfer to Aquaria KLCC which is located at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, just near the KLCC tower. This next-generation aquarium will take you on an exciting journey from misty mountains through the mysterious rainforests, the ever changing coast, reaching beyond reefs and into the mysterious deep blue sea. After lunch at local restaurant, you will be transferred to Putrajaya tour. You will be fascinated by the beautiful garden city image and the unique created building. You also will visit Taman Botani, Putrajaya. After dinner at local restaurant, the evening is left free for your own leisure. Stay overnight at Kuala Lumpur.

    Day 4 - Kuala Lumpur - Malacca - Kuala Lumpur

    After breakfast at hotel, you will be transfer to Malacca. We will spend the day exploring the neighboring historical city of Malacca. We will visit St Peter's Church (1710)- the oldest Christian Church which has still been used in Malaysia, "Red Square" - the salmon pink Dutch administration buildings and Portugese settlement. After lunch at local restaurant, we will visit the harmony street where the oldest Chinese temple, Cheng Hon Teng Temple is located. A Muslim mosque and Indian temple can also be found on the same street. Take a stroll along Malacca's antique street which ends by the banks of the Malacca River before departure to Kuala Lumpur. Stay overnight at Kuala Lumpur.

    Day 5 - Kuala Lumpur - Taman Negara

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
    8.45 am: Shuttle registration at lower lobby of Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur. 9.00 am: Departure to Kuala Tembeling Jetty.
    12.00 pm: Arrive at Kuala Tembeling Jetty. Meet at Restaurant Ghazali.
    1.00 pm: Lunch at Kuala Tembeling Jetty, Restaurant Ghazali
    2.00 pm: Boat ride (river safari) to Kuala Tahan, the headquarters for Taman Negara
    5.00pm: Welcome to Taman Negara! Check in to the chalets / hostels
    7.00 pm: Dinner at floating restaurant.
    8.30 pm: Introduction to Taman Negara through watching video show and posters at the Interpretive Room. Thereafter, night walk to Tahan Hide to observe wildlife, and continue with insect safari in the jungle. Bring along a torch light.

    Day 6 - Taman Negara

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch
    7.30 am: Breakfast at resort / floating restaurant.
    8.30 am: Jungle trek to Teresek Hill (344M). From the hilltop and in clear sky, you may be able to see the peak of Gunung Tahan (2,187M), the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. On return trekking, you are invited to challenge the canopy walkway which was installed above 30-50M from the ground.
    1.00 pm: Lunch at floating restaurant.
    2.30 pm: Gua Telinga ( Ear cave ) exploration. Bring along a torch light as the cave is dark.
    4.30 pm: Shooting the rapids. Experience 45 minutes of sheer thrill as you and your boatmates negotiate 6 sets of rapids to Kuala Trenggan, up stream of Sungai Tembeling. You must be prepared to get drenched ! On the way back, visit to Orang Asli settlement.
    7.00 pm Dinner at floating restaurant. Thereafter, you may carry out your own activities such as go shopping for souvenirs and go for a stroll around Mutiara Taman Negara Resort

    Day 7 - Taman Negara - Kuala Lumpur

    7.30 am Breakfast at resort / floating restaurant.
    9.00 am Leaving Taman Negara by boat
    11.00 am Arriving at Kuala Tembeling Jetty.
